Siphon 'F' - Ventilated Bogie Milk Van
Based on the GWR Siphon F vans from the turn of the last century. They were used to carry milk churns stacked two high from the farm to the dairy. Often attached singularly to the end of passenger stock they were based on old carriage under frames and hence were classed as carriages.

The model contains all of the aspects of the original siphons, structural framing, planking, ventilation louvres, framed doors, surface ironwork, cut out lettering, under framing and battery boxes. The doors are separate as is the ironwork for ease of painting. The model comes with the highly detailed 4 ft Plateway Models bogies incorporating real sealed bearing races for smooth running and low maintenance as well as pitch and roll compensation.
Kit contains everything but glue and paint.
