The Schienenzeppelin was cancelled partly due passenger safety concerns at platforms and the inability to tow additional wagons to make a train.
Propeller driven with a 1.5 - 6 Volt motor, switch and basic twin battery box (AA) to get you moving*. Destination boards, control console, outline front lamp, open driver end, covered passengers. Kit comes with everything but paint, glue and battery to complete.
*Note the model’s performance would be enhanced with remote control as unlike a direct drive model where the wheels will rotate and propel the model at fixed speed, a propeller driven model’s speed is decoupled from that of the prop and largely is dependent upon track friction. Where curves and points require move power. to negotiate.
